Add waste management activity to area

Title should be consistent with the table of contents

Each facility can contain several rooms which, in turn, can contain several areas. Each room is divided into areas in such a way that one Waste management activity (WM activity) occurs in each area. There are two types of areas: Processing and Storage. The type of area is defined in the Properties and Links panel.

To add a new WM activity, right click on the area node (is placed under the Areas node) and in the context menu choose the Add Waste management activity item. In the displayed window, type a name of activity and click OK. The description of activity can be given in the Properties and Links panel. There can be one waste management activity in every area.

Right click on the added WM activity. In the Properties and Links panel, user can see the name and type of area (Processing or Storage), where the particular activity takes place. This property (here read-only) can be changed on the area level. There is also possibility to add output waste components and to link the activity to different requirements and procedures. In the safety assessments the activities and areas have to be linked to the scenarios.

Added waste components should have information about the reduction factor or output waste componenhttp://safran.facilia.se/safran/cancel_edit/Add%20waste%20management%20activity%20to%20areat. The waste type can be defined as sealed sources or packaged waste. There is possibility to define the packaged waste type through choosing the database. Waste components can include also classification of the waste and information about other properties of the waste. More information can be found in Form to define properties of waste components.
